DARESA INVESTMENT LTD was established as a coal mining and transportation company in Tanzania, East Africa, in 2021. Our traditional business model revolves around mining, transporting, and exporting coal to various regions within Tanzania and globally. The company operates coal mines in KAROO BELT, in the southern western part of Tanzania, specifically in the Songea district, Ruvuma Region, near a place called Muhukuru coalfields, which is close to the Mhukuru River.
In 2023, we made a significant discovery of rich Nickel and Copper deposits in southeastern Tanzania, precisely in the Lindi region, Kilwa District, at a place called Zinga Mulike, Nambunju. We are actively working on the development of this remarkable find, covering an area of 295 square kilometers, where exploratory drilling has recently concluded.
Based on the company’s decision to diversify into coal transportation, we have successfully established robust networks with coal miners in rural areas of Songea and Ruvuma. As a result, we can now export up to 30,000 tonnes per month to the destination port in Mtwara or warehouses across the country. Moreover, this tonnage may increase to 60,000 tonnes per month as we are currently expanding our mining operations and networks.
Furthermore, we have several other projects in progress, similar to the ones mentioned above.
